I'd think they'll have to introduce some sort of verification too.

Such a massive disappointment.

A completely unacceptable stress and attack on the weakest and most vulnerable in society. I won't vote for a Starmer lead Labour party again.

Yeah I agree.I believe it started when the Tories were in power too so to tweet it out now is quite strange and ill advised but perhaps gives some context to a random hashtag.

It looks dreadful and is probably ill advised in that tweet but it's from a long running TUC campaign to highlight workplace issues. www.dyingtowork.co.uk/five-steps/

Disabled people too.

Meanwhile alienating their actual voters. Labour will get destroyed at the next election if the continue to try and appeal to Reform voters.

So she "balanced" the books, put 50k more kids in poverty for a target that has just moved because of the tariffs Trump has added? 🤬🤬 Shameful.
March 27, 2025 at 8:29 AM
I'm blocked as well and I barely said anything, just tried to have a discussion 🤷‍♂️
March 23, 2025 at 11:37 AM
At least with the Tories you expected it and knew what they were about. This feels a whole lot worse.

Cutting PIP, making it more difficult for people to get PIP, needing more points in specific categories absolutely means taking away benefits.. Employers won't take on long term sick people or make provisions,it just won't happen. There will be no "magical" help to get back to work.
March 23, 2025 at 9:34 AM
It also puts a strain on other resources such as the NHS. People will become sicker, more MH problems, homelessness, suicides etc and then you have the whole carers allowance issues. It'll make things worse overall.
March 23, 2025 at 9:30 AM
And I say this as a 40odd year old guy who's had a chronic eating disorder and OCD since I was 8 and been through the NHS system which is little or no help. It's just pure luck I've never had to claim for benefits.
March 19, 2025 at 4:17 PM
The "social contract" braking down, no chance of getting a house with a mortgage due to cost, bleak future with cuts everywhere, breakdown of health provisions and treatment in childhood years and in the NHS leading into adults with long term untreated mental health problems. Multi facited.
March 19, 2025 at 3:58 PM
It's absolutely shameful.
March 19, 2025 at 8:12 AM
Vilifying and "going after" the disabled and infirm did it for me, Tory rhetoric we've heard many times before from the Labour party. Recognised my mistake in voting for Labour and won't vote for him again at the next election.
February 12, 2025 at 5:50 PM
Oh yeah, that conspiracy theory you shared is nuts.

There's no evidence of anything in these hoaxes or whatever they were but I think we can probably say Russia are "up to" something. It wouldn't be surpsing to find out there's a link. www.bbc.com/news/article...
Mystery parcel fires were 'test runs' to target cargo flights to US, says Poland
The attacks targeted couriers in Poland, Germany and the UK, Polish prosecutors say.
