My strategy for staying sane. At the suggestion of @mswmediapods.bsky.social I decided to learn something new. I’m looking forward to seeing how my woodworking evolves in 4 years. These are my first three projects. Resistance/Life Balance.

Taking Leia to her recheck with the neurologist. Her vertigo was caused by a very deep inner-ear infection which will take 2 months of antibiotics to treat. We’re at 2.5 weeks and hopefully her progress is on track.

Happy to report that Leia has vertigo and nothing more serious. Not a seizure, nothing permanent. In a week or two she should be right as rain. It was scary, but her moms are SO relieved.

Nothing like having a sick pup to bring your focus back from the world at large to the love at home who is your whole world. Hopefully it isn’t serious but both her moms are freaking out tomorrow that. Fortunately she’s sees her acupuncturist tomorrow so we may get some sense of what’s happening.

At the vet with my girl Leia. She’s got hip dysplasia and we’re trying a new prescription in addition to acupuncture. She’s a young girl- but acupuncture did wonders for my previous dogs with arthritis.
