Was this a trend in the 2010s that I just never noticed?

Even the first Capitan America it starts with them finding him on ice! Cut to the war, we find out over the course of the film how he ended up on ice!

In Thor is starts with Jane hitting him with her car when he falls, we then cut to him doing his Thor thing which leads to us seeing why he was there to get hit.

In Iron Man 1 it starts with Tony's convoy getting blown up just to then cut back to the day before.

Another update. Chanse is soooo fucking funny and soooo pretty
