We are strongly considering altering the weight of our portfolio given the clear variation in performance between different holdings. We are pessimistic about DS Smith improving, but feel confident Trainline, InterContinental, and Tesco will continue to improve

The low growth of the portfolio so far is due to the heavy weighting of DS Smith's performance. On Thursday, the firm said packaging demand and paper pricing were "not as strong as expected" in its second quarter and that these trends had continued

Our portfolio includes government bonds and UK equities across a diverse selection of sectors. Performance since Dec 2nd is mixed, with strong gains in Trainline (+6.23%) and InterContinental (+3.39%) being offset by losses in DS Smith (-3.59%) and Unilever (-2.15%)

Analysing Betas and Sharpe Ratios for each potential investment, we narrowed our selection. We could select a maximum of 10 assets in the portfolio, and we agreed this number would minimise our level of risk. The portfolio became active on December 2nd, with the weights of our investment attached
