My Rembo has some reactivity issues to other animals that I haven’t been able to straighten out. We’ve been working with a behaviorist and he’s getting better. I dropped him off at a 2 week puppy “bootcamp”. I miss him already 😔 It’s going to be a long 2 weeks #Chihuahuas

WTH is this thing? It looks like a cross between a lobster and a shrimp. I’ve been coming to the Jersey shore since I was a little kid and have never seen one before. Google says it’s a Mantis Shrimp. There were several washed up along Strathmere Beach at sunrise this morning. Yikes

We had a fierce wind storm last night. My neighbor’s house didn’t fare well. Looks like they’re ok. PD and FD are here now. Remy and I passed it on our way out and didn’t even notice until we headed home

According to the Almanac planting guide, April 13-21 are the moon dates for planting carrots and potatoes in my area. Fingers crossed. I haven’t had much luck with carrots in the past and haven’t grown potatoes in years. It’s so nice to have things planted in the garden. #ResistanceGarden

Meet Remington Beauregard, aka Remy the escape artist. We went for a walk and he wrapped his leash around a fire hydrant, slipped out of his harness and had another grand adventure. Any suggestions for an escape proof harness or collar for a young skinny chihuahua? Martingale ripped his fur off.
