broke a new-ish garden fork last year. ridiculous. it seems to be an inability to judge and then moderate the amount of force needed, and if I'm invested in the outcome or pissed off with whatever I'm applying force to, it's gonna break.

I wonder if it's an ADHD thing? I destroyed a PS5 controller by using it with terminal intensity. Looking back, I've always I've broken things by using excessive force. Did a potato peeler recently.
