(Sphere casting a shadow onto the wall. The shadow's pixels are actually aligned to the pixels of the wall's surface texture. Looks neat in motion, too.)

Surface shader is custom, stylized to receive bilinear low-resolution textures and display them to appear as if they are point filtered but anti-aliased between the edges of each pixel. Shadows laying on its surface are texel-aligned. Normal maps supported too. So, in between realism and pixel art.

Today's efforts. Basic test UI. Debug log in the top left to see generated citizens (small scale for now). Would like a working inventory with a couple semi-working items to create item switching. Maybe like a flashlight, data disk, and camera. Date/time works. Soon time to swab and test blood...

Can now batch together ray casts with the Unity job system. Was necessary for "blasts" of liquid.

Example of why I wanted to have dynamic surface liquids: two people were standing in this test blast. You can see they occluded the splatter. That could lead to cool deductions, organically.
