I have dear friends in my life that are LGBTQIA+ and mean the world to me. We live in a very dark time where many Americans now have carte blanc to use their bigotry to violate basic rights of 🏳️‍🌈 🏳️‍⚧️ and other non hetero folk.

Current public figures seem to be embracing the evil forces that did horrific things over 80 years ago.

My grandfathers both fought against these forces of evil. Lest we never forget their sacrifice. We cannot normalize the far right rhetoric or else history will be doomed to repeat itself.
