Also, it wasn’t until the early 1990’s that Indigenous veterans were allowed to place a wreath during the Canadian Remembrance Day ceremony at the National War Memorial. I had to explain all this to someone yesterday who was griping about Nov 8th. I’m not Indigenous but I did set them straight.

I am going to try dehydrating this year. I still have a bunch from last years harvest that are in perfect shape and will use those to plant this fall.

We watched it last night. Great movie.

I swear by Tenderflake. The key is to not overwork your dough otherwise it will be tough. My Mom’s best advice when she taught me to make pastry “Fondle your dough, don’t assault it” Bahaha! She was an awesome pastry maker.
