This provision in the bill was worrying me a bunch. Glad it is gone. Maybe rethuglicans realize that once the Dems are in office it can be used against THEM.

Sincere condolences. We have said goodbye to three Bassets. Our oldest right now is 12 but very healthy. It is so hard to lose them and so wonderful to have them.

I think he finally realized that we are playing for keeps. It is not a time for being nice and he had his toes stepped on hard enough that he sees things clearly now. Hopefully

I've been aware of them for 40 years. I have noted lately that many, many SF and fantasy authors are die-hard progressives. He definitely is not one of them.
