I don't know why that link appeared in all three replies, it should only have been in the last one 🙄

Given what Clegg did subsequently, you might be right about that but I can't find anything to support that, e.g.:

As for the second part, I'm not a political historian as I've already said, but my recollection is there were suggestions of a Labour-LibDem coalition before the election. I can only find articles which refer to the post-election talks so I admit I could be wrong about that.

I vaguely remember that show but I'm not a fan of that genre (dramatisations of recent events) so I'm reasonably confident I wouldn't have watched it. But it was far from being the only reference to such an agreement.

I'm no political historian so my memory could be wrong but I recall it was well reported that he felt he deserved to become PM after Blair, regardless of whether he would be any good. He refused to consider a LibDem coalition so they went with the Tories. Look how that turned out.

You've used Bandcamp before. Is that not an option now?

Oops - I forgot it's now the Jim Jones All Stars but they're pretty close to the Revue sound IMO

I was pleased to see you mention the Jim Jones Revue who are incendiary live, although surprised that Rupert Orton didn't tell you they'd reformed (maybe he's not involved?). I checked out Dylan Kirk who is much more traditional r'n'r, but it looks like it would be great watching them in a club.

I'm loving the paint job on the left-hand one, it reminds me of some of Roscoe's Teles

It's the second time she's been thought to have sought a less-than-expert opinion on her property purchases. Her naivety is the most depressing part of this.

Crack The Skye is the album which finally turned me on to Mastodon after a couple of years of wondering what the fuss was about. Such sad news.

You're right about the CCR catalogue outlasting much of the output released at the same time. I don't listen to *all* the UK's rock and metal stations, but those which I do play CCR regularly. Possibly only Hendrix comes close in that regard.

These guys are touring over the next few weeks, maybe your paths will cross. Great live band with big tunes perfect for a roadtrip. Let me know what you think!
