We are halfway through the league phase of the Campeonato Nacional and Palmeira are on top with Sanjoanenses, Académica da Praia, and Boavista looking to join them in moving on to the Semis. Rendrick Almeida's brace today pushed him up in the Golden Boot but Walter Furtado still leads w/ 3 goals
There were two games today in the Campeonato Nacional in Cabo Verde. Sanjoanenses defeated Scorpion Vermelho 2-1 while Académica da Praia dealt another loss to Botafogo with the game finishing 1-0. No change to the Golden Boot table but the win moves Académica above Mindelense who play tomorrow.

Just as we did for the Campeonato Nacional we've started tracking the Golden Boot for the Taça Cabo Verde. CS Mindelense dominate the list, not surprising given the extra game they played and the emphatic scoreline of 4-0 and 3-0. We are still attempting to get pictures for the players.

I'm still working to get the team logos and add Vila Nova FC who had a bye this week but this is how the table stands after Week 1 as Black Panthers shipped 8 goals past Kuminidadi. Seven Stars and EFSOD also earned W's.
