It's building up, the difficulty is well adjusted for a new player. The end is very hard, but by then you've got better, so with a bit of perseverance you should be able to see at least 1 ending.

You can try hemorroid suppositories that you find easily in pharmacy. They are usually made with natural herbal ingredients and are just there for soothing. I used them a bit at the beginning.
But it gets better with time. I don't use them anymore.
