Pulled out my favourite @kinkyfriedmanofficial novel ‘Roadkill’ and found two (!) ticket stubs from a tremendous show at the Tron theatre in 2008 signed by the Kinkstah and the Texas Jewboys. Had forgotten about the tickets and I don’t remember getting them signed. Kosmic. @willienelson.bsky.social

It’s Hogmanay in Scotland so someone has to make a pot of soup in every house. It’s the law. I’m definitely bending the rule by making minestrone, but that’s just how I roll.

2002 - the year I lost my dad and my pal Larry Rhodes within the space of six weeks. A year topped off another six weeks later by the death of my teenage hero Joe Strummer (I ditched having heroes a long time ago and now just go for people being heroic). Anyway, me and Joe forty-two years ago.
