This film certainly gave me a new perspective on HR and Bad Brains. I was at that show in Lawrence. They sounded so fucking good until HR snapped and fucked that kid up. I hope he’s getting the help he needs. His lyrics and presence has inspired many. I hope he understands that and finds joy in it.

After seeing the Brooklyn Vegan story yesterday I went to (I thought) the venue’s website and bought tickets. Did I just get scammed, or is ‘Go Tickets’ a legitimate enterprise? I’m just a little salty about not seeing the Fables tour, I do not want to miss this!

I am once again asking- in my hackiest Bernie Sanders tone of voice- please, bring that tour to Colorado- preferably a venue called Washington’s- in Ft Collins. It’s a 900 seater, incredible sound system, and the crew is very friendly and professional. You will be doted on. Thank you for your time.

I just saw Femi last weekend. He was pretty amazing. Local opener Beasts of No Nation from Denver were fantastic. The High Country loves Afrobeat!
