The meaning, the beauty, will follow.

So who here is truly happy?

Sometimes it feels like I'm living in hype-land.

There's a hype about every other thing.

Yet, deeper meaning seems to have vanished.

It's insanity. The #diversity around us.

Just a while back, I freaked out because I thought a flying insect was approaching me.

Then I was told it was a #butterfly.

Relieved, but not convinced, I quickly went to grab my glasses so I could look at it.

By the time I returned, the butterfly hit the fan above, fell down, and died...

When we're #passionate about our #work (why haven't they invented a suitable synonym for passionate yet?), everything gets better.

I can't help but be cliche here. Taking the time to understand our inclinations and where we fit is SO worth it.

Feels a world different from the alternative.

Been thinking about this a lot lately, but having trouble fully articulating it.

Just that we have to own ourselves.. and strive to be our true selves.

My gift is different from yours.

My main work is to bring that gift to the world, and trust that others will use their gifts too.

I rarely ever write about my experiences as a woman in this society, in this time.

How is it that it still feels taboo? How can feminism STILL be a taboo word?

Because there is so much misunderstanding around it.

I've been tuning back in to my love of #history again.

It reminds me how much #wisdom our #predecessors have left behind for us.

In today's #attentioneconomy, we forget that newness doesn't equal more #happiness.

Perhaps if we stopped to look back sometimes, we would be more grateful.

For a while, it's been either #work or #life for me. Despite wanting to cultivate #balance, it had made more sense to 'go, go, go', and then 'rest, rest, rest'.

I've been learning to live differently. Because we aren't machines, and we should never treat ourselves as such. I think I'm succeeding.

A certain political change made me ultra happy this year.

Couldn't have been a better outcome of the restlessness many of us had been facing.

I hope we recognize that. I hope we don't get greedy and impatient in our lust for *change*.

Rarely have I been content with the status quo. I am now.

Noise reduction- how tremendously important in order to realize ourselves.

My updated use case intention- the occasional current events commentary, and some professional growth musings.

The fact that the 'edit post' feature is non-existent is concerning.

But less concerning than platforms where that feature isn't timestamped.

So far, this app seems similar to X and Threads.

Not exactly the medium I was looking for, but I like the overall gist of it.

I suppose I could customize it to some extent.
