Sometimes while reading I’ll come across a word that I’m absolutely positive is not an actual word, but is actually just a mistake by the publisher. When I look it up however I find out that the word is in fact real, and I’m just ignorant.

My pronunciation for “are” and “our” is exactly the same. This is fine until I have to say something like “There are our,” my brain finds the repeating sounds so displeasing that my tongue twists into strange shapes to create a frothing babble of nonsense. The same does not happen to “do do.”

I’d been trying to figure out what was missing from the switch’s animal crossing for years now. But, now that I’ve been replaying the GameCube version I realize I just missed all the villagers calling me dumb.

Been playing Monster Hunter World for an hour now and I have to stop before I start breaking things in my general vicinity out of frustration. I’ll come back tomorrow when I’m calm, and hopefully I’ll be able to finally finish the game’s opening tutorial.
