The system I built for casters needs roughly the same amount of reading as any other role, as long as you already have knowledge of the system.

I mean, it is a PitA to install the Sims 4 from Steam using their launcher.

So, how do you propose to fix that? If you destroy factory farming, which people rely on EVERY DAY for sustenance to survive, how will those people operate with the lack of food? Do you propose a mass famine to kill people, which is much more unethical than factory farming.

However, if we inevitably make this switch that you propose, eliminating factory farming, there will be a famine, especially since there’s no way in hell Earth can support enough crops to feed 8 billion people sustainably. We are already unsustainable in our current practice.

I am personally of the school of thought that eating any meat is okay (besides human meat, obviously) as long as it is ethically sourced. Hunting animals is something that all natural predators do, something that humans should practice in moderation, and where we should source our meat from.

Humans aren’t genetically superior to say, a pig, however, we are smarter than the pig. It is proven that humans are the smartest animals, for a number of reasons. It isn’t ethical no, but hundreds of millions of people rely on eating meat or dairy to survive, or to at least stay healthy.

While I think the culture build around farming animals as nothing more than meat is horrible, historically humans as animals have been omnivores and relied on not just forage, but the nutrient dense food that is meat. There are farmers out there that actually care about their animals.

well, last time an animal fell asleep on me I went from wide awake to tired… so maybe they can transmit sleep through touch.

I don’t think i’ve ever seen someone with so much hate for a cheese before. Not counting blue cheese, that is. Is it something about the taste?

…what is your quarrel with pepperjack, sir…?

It's not something like the zombie event, it's a nod to the new Doom game. The zombie event was also great, I had loads of fun.

This song rocks! One of my all time favorites. It gets better when you listen to The World at Large first then let Float On blend into the end.

I tried reading Beowulf recently. I couldn’t get into it. I was reading a version that was close to the original and wasn’t very entertaining, however. I don’t really read that many classics, but I read Animal Farm when I was… I want to say 7?

I also blame my love for dwarves and Hobbits on consuming Tolkien stuff at an early age like that.

My first bed time story was LotR and The Hobbit (thank you, Mom.) I could also read at a college level by kindergarten, and then I read a lot of books for a while, but then I got super into roleplaying games (video and paper) and that wiped out reading for me.

I usually brag about being hyperlexic, but holy crap. The most I’ve ever done is a little over two books in a day, and that’s because I was super interested in Percy Jackson. I aspire to have the attention span to consistently do that.

Same.
