Got to see this in an Oscar nominees encore screening. Excellent, although it felt a little in bad taste to be watching it, given the current condition of the real Pope.
Conclave (2024)
After the unexpected death of the Pope, Cardinal Lawrence is tasked with managing the covert and ancient ritual of electing a new one. Sequestered in the Vatican with the Catholic Church’s most powerf...

Enjoyed this Russia-set Finnish film, with Yura Borisov giving an earlier rendition of the diamond in the rough role that he would go on to do again so winningly in Anora.
Compartment No. 6 (2021)

Poor Alexander. Was angry at Frankie for voting for him after all he had done to prove himself to her, so at least she got eliminated too. Not pleased about Leanne winning though - she treated Alexander quite unpleasantly (or that's how it came across in the edit anyway). #traitors

It's a pity for the Sisterhood that Minah, a good Traitor but also a Faithful to other Traitors, has chosen a traitorous Traitor in Charlotte. #traitors

Hoping for either Minah or Alexander to win (the latter probably doesn't need the prize money, but he is so adorable). #traitors

The second excellent stop motion animation I've watched this Christmas. Whereas Wallace and Gromit made me laugh, this made me both laugh and cry, particularly the latter.
My Life as a Zucchini (2016)
After his mother’s death, Zucchini is befriended by a kind police officer, Raymond, who accompanies him to his new foster home filled with other orphans his age. There, with the help of his newfound f...
