Rapid Hybridization Casting cost: U Instant Destroy target creature. It can't be regenerated. That creature's controller puts a 3/3 green Frog Lizard creature token onto the battlefield.

Turned on the heater for the first time this winter and set up a blanket tent for the cats in front of it. I only wish I was as warm as they probably are.

Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty

I'm cheating by naming a whole set. It was fantastic from a mechanics perspective, but just look at some of these alternate frames and art! Ninjas, samurai, legendary cards, and normal all had unique borders that worked so well. The full art lands are absolutely gorgeous too.
Spring-Leaf Avenger, a Magic the Gathering card. It uses the alt art frame for ninjas, which has a very techno-organic look, like metal bamboo. Heiko Yamazaki, the General, a Magic the Gathering card. It uses the alt art frame for Samurai, which mimics a samurai helm across the top of the card and has the card type and rules text framed like a gate. Invoke the Winds, a Magic the Gathering card. It uses the standard alt art framing for the set. The name and cost are contained in a frame that mimics Japanese shrine gate, while the type and rules text are bordered by neon tubing. All of the framing matches the card's color, blue. A swamp from Magic the Gathering. It is the full art version from Kamigawa, Neon Dynasty. It depicts a flooded street during torrential rain. There are red, cylindrical lanterns hanging over the street and street signs and box lanterns on the sides. The entire card has a black tint, with shades of red from the lanterns overhead. On the upper left corner is a black mana symbol, with the Japanese word for swamp written above it in kanji.

Colossus of Akros

I was drafting weekly when Theros came out and had a pretty solid win / loss record. That said, I would always jam this guy in the deck if I picked him up later in a pack. The Colossus is big, expensive, and incredibly impractical, but every time I made it work was a personal win.
Colossus of Akros, a card in Magic the Gathering. It is a 10/10 artifact creature that costs 8 mana of any color. It has Defender, Indestructible, and you can pay 10 mana of any color to trigger Monstrosity 10. It has additional text that says "As long as Colossus of Akros is monstrous, it has trample and can attack as though it didn't have defender."

Thicket Basilisk and Lure was the first combo I found back in Unlimited as a kid. One sided wrath was kinda fun to figure out with such a small card pool.

Possibility Storm

I love big, dumb, chaotic enchantments and Possibility Storm is about as chaotic as they come without getting too silly.
The Magic the Gathering card, Possibility Storm. It is a red enchantment that costs 2 red mana and 3 of any color. Whenever a player casts a spell from their hand, that player exiles it, then exiles cards from the top of their library until they exile a card that shares a card type with the cast card That player may cast that card without paying its mana cost. Then they put all cards exiled with Possibility Storm on the bottom of their library in a random order.
