Not in the near term. No one wants a MAGA commentator who is beefing with Dear Leader yet. She is not the brightest bulb on the tree, but I do think she is just sharp enough to listen to her media consultants. If that is her plan, then she genuinely believes Trump's fall is imminent.

Her net worth increased from $700k to $ 25 million while in office. She is leaving just days after her pension vests. I would be much happier if we weren't going to have to keep paying her for decades to come.

If there is one person who is singularly responsible for setting up the situation that led to Trump's authoritarian power grab, that is Dick "motherfucking" Cheney. And the dissonance between the hagiographies and the lawyers presenting his arguments to the Supreme Court this week was intense.
