Tariffs are a tool to manage price controls of imported goods, to discourage dumping of cheap products into a country, not to control the flow of people or illegal drugs. What am I missing?

The answer came so clearly, in my mind, "You attract the kind of person you are." That prompting changed me. Two weeks later I met my wife.
