Too often, people from marginalized communities are called “hard to reach.”

But our findings from the Black Adult Resilience Study show something different — when research is rooted in community and trust, people want to be part of it.

Kwanzaa is a symbol of Black Resilience as Black people have been stripped of many things, but Kwanzaa was something created and specifically given to Black people to celebrate their History and culture in a positive light.
