Forget the polls - last year's local elections and the by-elections since suggest we're now a Reform versus LibDems country. Other parties are welcome to stand down for us.

The Greens have morphed into a far-left party - not of any interest to the LibDems.

As an example, the German Greens have done more to increase CO2 by getting nuclear scrapped than most oil companies. The phrase "don't let the great be the enemy of the good" has completely escaped the green movement.

Perhaps if Labour stopped tolerating racism out of fear of losing votes to Reform, that would be a start?

I've been involved longer than that, and I gave up on the Green Party and most of the environmental organisations long ago. They've done more harm than good. The Green Party abandoning environmentalism completely as Zack seems to be doing may be the best thing for it.

Meh, they've yet to show any signs of turning their polling figures into votes. The last six months of local by-elections tell a completely different story to the polls.

It also tells us why Polanski's interested, because he doesn't normally care about environmental issues.

We often speak of the Greens alongside the LibDems - usually in the phrase "LibDem gain from Greens".
November 10, 2025 at 11:23 PM
Sorry Martin, I really have no interest in reopening that story. I'll assume I'm not getting your vote.
November 9, 2025 at 9:07 PM
Yeah, thought so. Never mind - I'll still try to be a good councillor for you.
November 9, 2025 at 8:47 PM
You talk a lot of sense on this stuff - maybe one day you'll bury the hatchet and support those of us fighting for a positive message on immigration.
November 9, 2025 at 7:44 PM
Yes, and your response backs up my point. Ed Davey is a relatable politician which is why the LibDems are the only party challenging Reform in local by-elections every week.
November 9, 2025 at 7:24 PM
Great news - many Labour voters are making a similar move.
November 9, 2025 at 6:36 PM
I suspect it would only be used for people who have their letterbox at the bottom of the door.
November 9, 2025 at 2:43 PM
Suggest you look at election results instead of polls. The only party stopping Reform at the ballot box is the LibDems.

Is Ruzzia stockpiling drones or has Ukraine seriously degraded their manufacturing abilities?
November 9, 2025 at 9:31 AM
Sure...

Yesterday's by-elections results:

SNP GAIN from Labour
Reform UK GAIN from Conservatives
Independent GAINS from Labour
Reform UK GAIN from Independent
Liberal Democrats GAIN from the Green party

You clowns are damaging the rejoin cause.
