Hard to know if some boards know what their real job is
These are modern courtesans play to and for would be rulers
The Patricians have returned with the 2nd Gilded Age - new technology, new fascism
Neoliberalism is driving us to serfdom
Hayek was wrong
His road leads to serfdom
Do All?

When complaining about "the gubbermant" most ignore the basis facts of democracy
Jefferson was right
As a country we need to take a good hard look at ourselves
We're simply not much good at choices
We're in a Gilded Age and the mob seem happy with that
Maybe feudalism is our natural state

There's very little Liberalism in him
John Stuart Mill summed him up
He's a hard core conservative (Tory), the opposite of Liberal

But no actions against the only "democracy" engaged in genocide
@senatorwong.bsky.social is unspeakably disappointing
Her adoption of the Arrogance of Office was swift and comprehensive
And it's shockingly transparent
She's a tedious plodder with a big head these days with no compassion left

What a lot of rot
You're in government. You could solve poverty tomorrow if you actually wanted to
You're the worst disappointment I've seen since Hawke sold us out to Neoliberalism
You're as straight as a dog's hind leg

A better option is to tax all rentier income at a progressively higher rate of tax
More rent (unearned income) you make = higher rate of tax
For AirBNB etc make the tax on rent say 3% above income tax and scrap both CGT discounts and the insane Negative Gearing
We're like the US economically

We had a welfare state
But that impeded the upward flow of money so illogical Neoliberalism/Neoclassical Economics had to become orthodoxy
In reality it's a recipe for inequality, obscene wealth and poverty, and what is highlighted above
It's infected nearly everywhere. USA, UK, AUD especially

They just can't help themselves. Full to the brim with bigots, be they sexist, racist or just plain bigots
I don't think they really want to win government
Have they bothered to explain the harm they imagine a treaty might stop?

You know who they serve by the decisions they make
- Expensive Weapons
- Gaza Genocide
- Coal
- Gas
- Environment
- Homeless
- Unemployed
- Game Of Mates
We have a duopoly of business promoting political parties-
- professionalised
- Neoliberal
- Corporatist
But no major people's party in 2025
