In case anyone has read to this point, I leave three points.

1. This practice is still done today.

2. There is a difference between being racial and racist.

3. If you were appalled at the comment about the white center, were you also appalled when Biden said he had to choose a black women VP?

The WNBA has always lost money. In 2013, draft rooms hoped for Elena Delle Donne. In 2020, it was Sabrina Ionescu. Last year, Caitlin Clark finally generated some profits. She was helped by the divisive political landscape and a rivalry with Angel Reese. "The rest of them" tuned in.

If you watched interviews from Trump rallies, many of his supporters thought he was running the country during Biden's entire presidency.

I don't understand that but maybe this will resonate. Sometimes people say things and patronize people they don't agree with as a means to an end. They think if they can achieve success, then they can do what they believe is right.

On opposing sides of elections, there is a lot of that going on.

"That was yesterday. Yesterday was a bad day. Today is a good day."

John used this to show how his dad could always find something positive to say no matter how bad a situation was.

His dad said, "Actually John, this has been a good day." John, says "You must have hit your head and messed up your thinking." His dad says, "The doctors have been great, the nurses have been great. Everyone has been very helpful."

John, "But dad, they say you're paralyzed." His dad said, ...

In honor of John, let me tell you his favorite story about his dad that I repeat sometimes. His dad (most famous lawyer in Kentucky said John) got paralyzed in a car accident when he was in his '80s. John made it to the hospital the next day and said this is the worst day of his life. His dad said

John accidentally (asked by Dems to be a candidate because they had no one signed up to be an obvious loser) became governor of Kentucky and chose some black people for positions which was unheard of then and there. He did a lot of progressive things in his basketball ownership also.

You're missing context, which in this case involves the time period. Many things that were said 45 years ago are unsayable today.
Example: Jack Benny was thought to be a daring progressive by having Rochester as his sidekick. Today he would be mocked for using a caricature of a black person.

I hadn't seen him in about ten years. I didn't realize he died two years ago. I only saw him when he came to California, usually to play poker. I met Pam when she was in college when she came to see him at Larry Flynt's house where we were playing poker!

I really liked the NBA when I was young and I didn't realize until I was older that the NBA wasn't on TV much outside of the Sunday morning CBS game because it had so many black people in the league.

Boston had some white centers but Larry Bird delivered their wish for a great white hope.

I'm a friend of John's and I've never seen him act racist. He's a businessman and Boston likes its white players.

I remember him working for a couple years, trying to get money to open a Muhammad Ali museum in Louisville, Kentucky.

Biden should never have said he wouldn't pardon his son.

He should have said he didn't want to comment the investigation.

When George Bush was asked about taking drugs in college with many witnesses to his doing lines of coke, he didn't lie. He said he wasn't going to answer questions like that.

I assumed Scotty meant how many championships of Elon was the coach, since Elon is currently a CEO. I don't think Scotty and Michael would have been happy with Elon taking credit whenever they scored a basket.
