Yes, a good start, but Mavericks, Pelicans, Nets, Raptors, Heat is not exactly a murderer's row of opponents (6-18 combined record, or 6-13 if you remove the Spurs games).
I'm a bit of a closet Spurs fan, and I hope they have a great season, but a little perspective is probably warranted here.
