Tuesday I lost my darling Ethelyn Bader. My dearest friend for 30+ years. As sad as I am, I take solace in knowing that she and Danny are back together, watching the yankees and sipping old fashions.

to know me is to know my boys. The brown one, smudge, passed a little over a year ago, but still feels present. Trey, the tricolor black one, is just fine.
