Zelda II for FDS arrived today, and it's in fantastic shape. It's always really cool seeing save games from previous owners too!

My copy of The Legend of Zelda for Famicom Disk System arrived today! Unlike my copy of Metroid for FDS, this one has all the stickers in the manual.

Couple stills of the Metroid disk I got. So cool!

That loading time though lol. It's worth it for that higher fidelity music and ability to save because let's face it... 16+ character passwords suck!

Got my FDS and my copy of Metroid today. It's really, really cool having this and seeing it work. I never imagined I would have anything like this!

Shout-out to this USPS driver for delivering my complete in box copy of Akumajou Densetsu, a 30+ year old game that cost me $150, like it was a fucking frisbee lmao

I got a Famicom! Took a bit to learn how to get it to properly display on my Trinitron with RF but it works! Soon, I'll have Akumajou Densetsu and a sweet AV mod and we'll really be cooking!!

One thing I'll have to do when I do return is retool this map. It's far too big and boring. Sure is pretty though!

Forever dreaming of returning to my Metroid project. My ambition far outweighs my talent.

I just fixed an OS/2 Warp machine at work a couple weeks ago. First time in my career having to figure out what cylinders, heads and sectors had to be set to boot properly.

Couple of pickups these past few months. An N64 game storage bin, some GBC 3D printed stands and an OEM N64 controller with a rebuilt joystick thanks to kitsch-bent parts!
