It's great when well kept cask is under a 5er and decent keg is under 6.50ish nowadays. Some pubs, in particular chains, are just taking the mick nowadays, though ...

I always think it's a shame when events ban food. Some of these so-called 'street food' outlets are so expensive now as to be almost unaffordable. Just my opinion, but people generally get searched anyway, so where is the harm in bringing a sarnie in. There is never a cheaper option at these things.
