That sounds cool as hell! And hey, I do fit most of those.

It was actually sickening to read. It's been a while since I've seen such an openly manipulative survey.

They know what results they want.

"Are you in support of our decision to punch every immigrant 20 times?"
(we do this to test their value to our society: brittle bones are a sign of weakness)

1. I would prefer 30 times
2. 20 times is a perfect amount
3. I would prefer to punch them only 19 times
4. Don't know/prefer not to answer

That looks so nice! And yeah, definitely getting on that newsletter train.

That's why I like this kind of flawed translation! Those are the two closest synonyms, it could mean either, it could mean both. Good luck figuring it out!

Oh, I'm sure this circulated WIDELY in the circles that would be all for barring entry to immigrants and kicking out expats. But they have a vested interest in not making it available to those who would see this for what it is--a blatant display of racism.

Two votes for sparing the alien friend!

...now I want to run one of those choose your own adventure things where people vote in the comments on what to do.

"Healing" really is the word. I'm so tired of cynical storytelling, I need something aspirational! I yearn for chivalry and heroism!

It's part of the reason I like your stories so much, I think. It's such a breath of fresh air to experience Good People doing Good Things in an engaging setting.

I... never realized that before, but you're definitely right. I'm unemployed right now and don't really think about the times at which I share stuff (plus timezone shenanigans), and have been wondering why there's such a feast-or-famine dynamic with my posts.

Right, people are working.
