If we really wanted to create new barriers for hackers, it wouldn't be moving to tcpip6, it would be a new networking protocol that is natively encrypted but that would require Microsoft, Apple, Google, etc & every software manufacturer to re-write decades of copied code.

CBS Evening News cut their segment about MN fraud leaving out facts like it was Biden's administration who started the prosecutions & a white women was the ring leader so that they could air this stupid BS bear story nationally. Clearly real news information takes a back seat at CBS news now.

Most people have no clue that computer hardware like DDR memory has very small margins like 3 to 5 percent so if there is little profit on a tariffed product, it can't help but double & increase in cost but the bigger problem is availability & quality control. That's the story.

I think lack of stock of DDR & storage & poorer quality control & mismarking will be DDR memory the tech story of 2026 unless SCOTUS reverses Trump's authority & if that happens it will still take time to replenish quality stock of DDR memory from legit sources.

There is no US manufacturing of the chips that go on DDR memory & won't be until 2027 if Micron actually spends money in US. In the meantime, there is no stock & I'm finding when you can get DDR about 1/2 of the time it makes new PCs OVERHEAT. New PCs users should know why a new PC is overheating.

Today's business philosophy is about continuing revenue. Software is great example, most programs are "software as service" & are no longer owned by the person who purchases it. Quickbooks, Adobe, etc It used to be about new features.

Tariff are affecting DDR memory since no DDR is made in the US until 2027 at the earliest & now many imported DDR is causing overheating failures in a large percentage of PCs & fileservers in just the last month. I think this will be the tech story of 2026 when nat'l news orgs finally realizes it.

Financial news people shouldn't trust accuracy of 12/2025 GDP since it's assembled by Commerce Dept & now every us gov't civil service dept is lead by a Trump sycophant. Just look at imports for example, there is no way it's not dropping like a rock because of tariffs especially electronics

I have loved the annual honors production but there is no way I will watch anything Trump has put his little grubby hands on especially in entertainment. If you go back & watch any Apprentice, Brunel would constantly dove in Trump sound with Trump's face not viewed on broadcasts for fake drama.

If Scotus does their job & takes Tariff power away from Trump & back to congress, memory & storage will start repopulating stock & prices will come back to pre-tariff amounts but of coarse Scotus majority could give Trump another free pass if they abandon their pre-Trump free market position.

Hey news orgs! Everything is not a result of AI. Intel's decline started when they abandon 1/2 century genius development of server motherboards & other non CPU development which is what made Intel. Today, CPUs are their profit center & I believe motherboards & CPUs need combined development

It seems Scotus majority gives us a win before dismantling more long term settled law. Don't get me wrong, it's good for Chicago but I can't help but be pessimistic about today's overly political Scotus majority.

GOP has most of the billionaires but DEMS do have some & they should pool some of their money together & create their own media company, not by acquisition but by bringing in the brave ethical journalists plus the improperly fired key gov't employees. There viewership would generate a fortune.

Pharmacies are the latest sector to be stripped of independent ownership but let's not forget, this started in the 1980 with big business buying up all the local hardware, stationary & other small independent businesses. Today's stockholders pool their money using private equity limited partnerships
