Also, no one who talks in public about this stuff ever seems to be an introvert or understand how they work. I know multiple former teenagers who did *far* better during school from home because they didn’t have to deal with people in their space.

My favorite of these continues to be Serena in the Olympics: 6-1, 6-0 over the second best tennis player in the world, and it didn’t look like she was even trying that hard. Never seen better focus from an individual, ever.

In 30 years, the Revolution have exactly one home season opener, because they put us on the road for weather reasons

Sitting outside for two hours? Houston in July. I don’t say this lightly - I *hate* humidity and I have relatives in Texas, so I’m familiar with what July is like there.
But with proper clothes and hydration, it’s livable. Sitting in sub-freezing weather for two hours is harder.

Exciting player, but I have trouble seeing how he’d fit with Gil. I don’t think we have the defensive chops to afford two offense only guys on the field at the same time. Maybe if Chancalay and Langoni were known for their defensive chops, maybe then.

Not nearly the drama, nor the difficulty level, but I still remember Khano Smith’s winner vs NY MetroStars in the snow. Good to win at home under trying circumstances.
