Here's my backup setup using Macrium Reflect, & FreeFileSync.
Every day my PC is:
1) Backed up to a separate SSD in the same PC,
2) The (encrypted) backup is then uploaded to the cloud,
3) The backup is then copied to an external SSD plugged in only during the backup phase
Backup! Backup! Backup!
