Largely picked it up for 4-person multi. And it’s pretty good for that.
But in solo play I find that it’s more addictive than I actually enjoy playing it? And I really wish the permanents unlocks didn't have stuff as important as shorter dodge roll cooldowns...

Fun fact: The Nintendo Store App "Total time played" even includes Wii-U games!

20) Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure
Charming game but has shown its age in several ways (both in its janky combat and some early 00’s…-isms in general.) But it does very much remind me of when Falcom used to make short & sweet games that I really wish they would still continue to make.

My fav chapter so far pretty handily. Considerably longer than I expected it would be, but earns it? Really proves how incredibly meticulous the writing is up until this point. Ryukishi07 clearly LOVES to play the long con.

Absolutely adored my playthrough (even on Tactician.) I thought I’d have more hang-ups w/ cut WOTL content, but the infinite QOL additions easily supersede that.
Has more than stood the test of time with its incredible writing & great re-release.

General TGS wrap-up: Enjoyed TGS 2025 a whole lot. As corny as it sounds it was sorta how I imagined what old E3 used to be like via old gaming magazines. Incredibly flashy, over-the-top and a whole lot of reverence for games in general.

Once Upon a Katamari
I rolled some stuff. It felt pretty good. I have missed about 500 games since the original PS2 release so the controls aren't as intuitive as I remember them being. But that's currently a skill issue.

I have a few more reservations about the game after playing the demo. Such as combat still being kinda slow even with 2x speed on animations. Still looks cool but my expectations are much more grounded for it now.

The game seems like it'll be rad. Only played the 1st for a few hours and it (and what I hear of 2) definitely has improved the combat a fair bit since my last exposure.
