I absolutely LOVED this anthology!

I read the books in high school a little before the movies came out. Mind you- I was fully immersed in Anita Blake at the time and I remember being so incensed at her when she didn't punish him for ghosting her. 🤣

I like to think of myself as a pretty thick-skinned reader and I'll often choose to read triggering, graphic or just viral books so I can rate them for others.

If you want someone to proof a book for you, send it over! I love a challenge and it makes the nightmares quiet down at night. 🐺

DRIVE isn't intended to replace trigger or content warnings, but it is a good system to really check into how intense the book you're considering is going to be.

I'm going to be using it for everything I review here as well as posting reviews from the last year with their own.

So for example, one of my favorite novels is Kushiel's Dart by Jacqueline Carey and it has enough adult content in it that it's a good way to describe how I'd rate the book.

Kushiel's Dart
DRIVE Rating: 4
D: 3
R: 4
I: N/A
V: 4
E: 4

So it's line with a rated R movie in terms of graphics

I'm in this process right now and every time I close a plot hole I feel like I have 5 new questions to answer. 😅
