I would rather not be with someone that had all the exact same views, thoughts and opinions as I do. I would prefer someone that even tho we have differences we can love and respect one another appreciate our differences.

This is rather disheartening. Sadly it seems gone are the days that people accept and respect others of different views. Sadly too many people hate others based on political views or general beliefs and opinions. I have known many couples of different political views that were plenty happy.

Not sure what rapist was up for a vote. But I didn’t see any convicted rapist running for any office. In America everyone is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Not based on accusations.
