Motherhood is constantly full of surprises. Today, it was waking up to a child and bed covered in vomit.

Merlin crossed the rainbow bridge this week. He gave me almost 12 years of love, snugs, dog fur tumbleweeds, and mouth breathing; I cherished all of the time we had. He got to see more states and countries than most humans. Most importantly, he was a good boy and we're going to miss him every day.
