There was a single CD "John Lennon Collection" that came out at the dawn of the CD era, encompassing almost all of Shaved Fish (thankfully minus Woman Is The...) - and including the best Double Fantasy songs.
I played that to death, and I'd have put it up against any single-disc best-of.

Iran-Contra seems like a way to illegally arm an authoritarian regime who held our hostages for over a year. But apparently it was just a way to bring freedom to Nicaragua.
