Across 110th Street (1972)

Last year for Christmas, Jocelyn gave me a #TCM Underground book that writes about 50 must-see cult movies. I’ve decided to watch each movie as I read the sections. I have a feeling that #Tubi is going to be very helpful.

Northcliffe is seeing a real resurgence. We have a cast of 20, the biggest since 1997, and show is almost sold out (a huge feat for this town). Theatre is making a big comeback in Central.

Broken Blossoms: or The Yellow Man and the Girl (1919)

Broken Blossoms has a whole lot of yellowface, but if you’re able to put that on the back burner you’ll find a pretty beautiful and tragic story.

Lillian Gish is fantastic here.
