I never have anything I think is interesting enough to post, so I guess I’ll show some regular type stuff.
I also had Baltimore orioles for the second year- but in 2024 I only caught 2 glimpses over 2 days. In 2025 I had 2 males for a couple weeks in the dead of winter, and back again in spring!

I saw my very first ever rose breasted grosbeak this spring! I had to look it up to see who he was- funny thing he is the cover bird on a field guide I received about a month earlier!

All cooked up! I think I went too heavy on sausage, but honestly it was really good! Happy I did not overcook potatoes!

You have inspired me yet again!! Unfortunately I have no doggies at this time, but that allows me to use hot sausage & onions! Been thinking about a hash since this post & v excited to try it!

I keep forgetting to get bread though. I know you can’t eat them, but I’m REALLY missing tomato sammiches! My neighbor brought me homemade tomato & basil & made my first caprese- I had a lil (not exceptional) mozzarella & I can’t believe I never made this before. Not a sammich 😞, but so good!

I think I will follow your lead on reward for extra hard work today - pretty sure this fruit would be better with a small dollop of lemon ice cream… you always inspire me!

I do not go usually order fast food but had a hankering for Wendy’s. It did not disappoint and the WEDNESDAY themed items were actually fantastic!

This hawk showed off his roadkill catch last Sept. he beat out the turkey vultures. Same window for later crow snatching Cardinal nestling.

I made biscuits today, and this time they were REALLY GOOD! Any suggestions on day or so of storing? Plastic baggies kind of make them chewy, fridge not better.
