Reflecting on a quick weekend break in Tirana. First visit to Albania for both of us. Surprisingly lively city with good cafes and restaurants. Of course no trip complete unless you visit the Parliament

Just back from visiting the Latvian Parliament with colleagues from the UK. As well as meeting our counterparts in the Saeima, we met with an NGO supporting women, and with the incredibly brave team at the BBC Russian service.
