I mean if you're still reading The New York Times at this point you're reading the paper that quietly shielded the largest pedophile conspiracy of our time.
It's still hard for me to fathom that the New York Times *had* proof of Epstein's pedophile ring on their servers since 2016 and just chose not to do anything with it.

I've known for a while that the press was corrupt, but I didn't know to this extent.

New app that matches publishers with indies where indies engage first based on what the publisher is offering.

Call that the Indie Humble Bumble.

I can see where you're coming from, but I wonder if people truly go from loving to hating something performatively, or if there was something unsettling about the work to begin with and the creator being a shithead revealed the rotten structure underneath.

I'm equally curious! The steamdeck has been quite a success so far, and I think that prepared them well for this attempt

I'm super chuffed, honestly. Because we got to push people's boundaries in a safe and responsible manner, and we did not leave them without proper and effective aftercare.

Next step for me is thinking if and how to apply that in digital games. There could be some cool opportunities!

After the game, we immediately put on a fun tune and got the players to move, shake their limbs and sing along.

I knew to apply it right away before the emotion and experience got connected and stored as a long term memory.

And it worked! Not a single player reported Bleed afterwards!

And so if you entice players to act out emotions, you'd better be able to mitigate Bleed or else your players will feel drained a day or two after the session.

Enter the physical reset. This was a suggestion I had read about before, but I never applied it so I was curious about its effects.

Bleed in this instance are emotions you experience in game and need to process out of game. This is because the human body largely does not recognise a difference between acted emotions and real ones - and will need time and energy to process them.

I 100% support this. And it also really helps fostering social connections too. People don't like arrogance, but people do appreciate when you value yourself and express that.
