I’ve been looking for a distraction, and my kickstarter from November ’23 FINALLY arrived. Fortunately, it does not appear to have 100,000 tiny parts that can be relocated around the entire house by little fingers. 🙄

On one hand, thank you, national weather service! Your dedication to keeping people safe is incredibly useful & underappreciated!
But like… Saying something is “severe with a significant threat to life or property” and then saying we might get 1 whole inch of snow seems a little… calamitous. Right?

Look people. Half of Maryland is adjacent to saltwater, so brining the roads is very doable. Also? Why would we want to cut into our Strategic Old Bay Reserve?!? The roads aren’t covered in crabs this time of year!

When I was seven or eight, I had chickenpox. We used to use the words measles and chickenpox interchangeably because we were kids without context.

I just downloaded this book for Audible for free. I’m not sure if that’s because someone else in my Audible group already picked it up, but if that isn’t the case, and you’re interested in DMing at all, this is a pretty good read.
