Sounds like a perfect situation

Yes both our countries do it for humanitarian and selfish reasons. It’s to get these nations on “our side”, if we stop, China gets them all, Trump doesn’t seem to know about all the business we get from USAID, and he claims to be a businessman. Future transactions are lost with these nations.

The list of negative consequences is longer than what we can post, (or even conceive), this is not a good situation.

USAID is a federal agency that provides assistance to developing countries. Its mission is to reduce poverty, disease, and humanitarian need. USAID also HELPS U.S. BUSINESSES by supporting economic growth in developing countries. This is where “MADE IN USA” helps us. To end this program is suicidal

China has their own version of the USAID-in which they copied our model, they will gladly jump into these emerging nations that we are exiting, like all of Oceana, parts of Africa, Asia, Central America. Closing down USAID is an absolutely disastrous decision.
