because they won't say that they were wrong, or admit that there was more at stake than their single issue. Ignorance is only bliss for a short time.

They were duped and don't want to admit it. Even when they lose their Healthcare, their Soc Sec, and when their relatives and friends are deported, and their livelihoods are taken, there will still be so many who will declare that this is exactly what they wanted;
