Susie Wiles grew up around the media. Her dad was Pat Summerall. I’m not buying the idea that she didn’t understand how on/off the record works. She does understand the alcoholic personality; Pat was a great announcer but he struggled with booze.

Connect the dots: “Do the same to us” means that US citizens traveling in international waters or in foreign countries are fair game. We don’t accept “derp derp spy/terrorist!” as an excuse when N Korea and Iran arrest and hold Americans. Now we’re doing the same thing — or worse. Unacceptable.

The special election in Tennessee matters. It could send a signal to the many GOP House districts that were Trump +10 or less in 2024. Those are members most likely to resign or break from MAGA.

The special election in Tennessee should be interesting. If that’s fairly close, then any Congressional GOP House member of a district Trump +10 or less will consider bailing out with time for the party to run another candidate.
