I'm caught up in the idea that when I make art, I should seriously strive to make the best art I can. Otherwise, I'm wasting my time. Thus I often lock myself out of the very real therapeutic effects that making art can bring.

Don't assume anything.

So if you're a trans woman and the doctor says you have prostate cancer you should just ignore that old fashioned shit.
