I had a colony of these at the bottom of my garden when I lived in Ely, Cardiff many years ago. They were there every autumn under the trees and overgrown privet.

I was talking about cats to @kevadams.bsky.social and remembered a photo of one my cats called Cuddly when he was younger and thought he was a Prairie Dog or Meerkat.
