My experience of this was a lot of managers suggesting using LLMs specifically to do the parts of my job they didn't know or understand how to do, then getting angry when we pointed out those were complicated knowledge tasks.

You theoretically could do client key based encryption of the chat *logs* a la Signal (so long as nobody ever wants context) but the utter lack of understanding of what the ends are in these systems astounds me

I've seen so many people calling for someone to make an end to end encrypted LLM so even the maker can't read the chats and like..... tell me you don't know how these work without telling me you don't know how they work.
